Very Good

30 minute walk from Crystal Bay. Pool area was really nice. Lots of good food options nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful.

What would you highlight about Bintang Hostel and Homestay

Clean, Comfortable and Peaceful!

Bintang Hostel and Homestay is a brilliant place to base yourself if you want to explore the island. We got a taxi from the harbour for 200k IDR and it is about 20 minutes away depending on traffic. It is quiet, clean and relaxing. The rooms are huge and you’re provided with water bottles (and you can refill these for free at the ‘reception’ area. Showers are lovely and hot, and the beds are incredibly comfy. We rented a moped for 100k a day and felt this was necessary to explore properly!

Lovely couple of days. Great rooms and pool area. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The outdoor pool area was lovely to chill around. The shared dorm rooms and the best themselves were a very good size.

Nice location for Crystal Bay beach

The property is big , they have a lot of rooms, the dorms I think are two only but good size and comfy. Bathroom ok . Staff was great ,super helpful with everything. Location was good for us, we could walk down to Crystal Bay .

Beautiful location, quiet & very comfortable

We had a lovely stay at the hostel (worth noting there are 3 different sets of accommodation here, so make sure you pull up at the correct one!) Really friendly and welcoming staff - restaurant is good value & water dispenser available Private double room is very spacious and the bed is super soft & comfortable, we slept very well, quiet area Beautiful sunset through the palm trees on the nice patio/ balcony The pool is very refreshing at the end of a day exploring Penida, it's a decent size you can actually swim a good few lengths in Breakfast is a smaller offering than many places that charge less, but tasty none the less

...that we didn't book a couple of days longer! Breakfast could've included a small fruit plate for the price to make it more substantial The bathroom occasionally smelt of 'drain'

Exceptional

You need a car/bike to get to the "city center" but it's 15/20 min away. The owners are very nice and can help you in everything you need. You can rent a bike in the hostel or ask for a taxi. They have good price.

Great place within nature

Surrounded by the lush vegetation it is a great place to relax - especially on the pool :) The scooters they provide are in very good conditions and also the transport to and from the harbour worked perfectly.

The sink in the dorm had a little leak

Wonderful

Food at the restaurant was delicious. Big bathroom and lots of space in the room. Big and nice swimming pool. Offer bike rental. Very kind staff! Good water pressure and nice soap. Good working ac. The surrounding of the place is really nice, very natury.

Far from everything, you need a bike. The bunk beds make lots of noise when you move. Other than that it was great!

Lovely hostel with great staff.

Really friendly staff, great food at restaurant and lovely location with great pool and rooms. Stayed here to go diving at one of the local dive shops and was a great place to stay for a couple of quiet nights of relaxation.

Not super easy to get around if you don’t like riding a scooter (like much of Nusa penida!)

relaxing time, met nice people in a comfortable and beautiful location

nice property, as it looks in the photos, comfortable dorms with a decent shower ensuite and aircon, comfortable beds. staff were really nice, can arrange any day trip or transport you might want, good prices.

it’s walking distance from crystal bay but quite a long and steep walk. you really want to be able to get around on a scooter to enjoy your stay here.

Excellent!

The garden was lush, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff super kind and helpful. They helped us with the taxi to and frim the pier, renting a scooter and arranging our ferry back to Bali. The property is a 3 min walk from Reeflex, a very good diving shop. The pool space is shared with another accommodation. You can refill your water bottlw for free!

The room could have more furniture - we were missing some nights tables.

Super clean, you even get your beds made every day. The staff are absolutely lovely comfy, huge bed, the pool's awesome, and you can rent scooters from them to get around

Lovely home

The place itself was lovely. Great breakfast,amazing swimming pool,room cleaned daily and comfy beds with a working TV!

Powercuts daily for 2-3hours.... but that's a common problem in entire island. So if you're planning to work from home Nusa Penida is not a place for you

loved it! great staff and location

the staff, they clean up the dorms every day, swimmingpool area, 2 restaurants to choose from

the wooden dorm beds are noisy and upperbeds feel unstable. it’s relatively expansive to explore the island without your own scooter.
